Bob is hosting a month long DJ residency on XMU as part of the XMU Artists In Residency (AIR) Time series. Every Tuesday this month, Bob will pick some of his favorite songs and talk on air about what he listens to. The show airs every Tuesday at 7pm PST/10pm EST on XMU, Channel 43. On Tuesday, January 8th, Bob will play a couple of songs at the Walt Disney Concert Hall for the event, "Songs of the City," which is part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic's Concrete Frequency Festival (January 4-17). The festival takes a unique examination of the relationship between music and the urban environment. The singer/songwriter program in which Bob will partake features artists who express how music has provided them, as city dwellers, an outlet for their joy, urgency, depression and heartache.
